If you’re not familiar with this topic or know anything about the return of Jesus or the end times or the end of this earth age, then you need to do some research for yourself. Believing wrong secondhand information can be too costly, you need to be confident in your source.
For those of you who are new to the Kingdom of God and don’t know anything about the return of Jesus you need to study this topic immediately. Those of you who are relying on hearsay from your pastor, other pastors, a book you read or a movie you watched you need to crack open the Bible and ask Holy Spirit to give you understanding of this topic immediately.
Here’s why I say you need to know and be confident in your source on this topic because everyone I SAID EVERYONE will have to answer for him or herself, you don’t get to ride on mama, daddy, or anybody’s else coat tails. You don’t get to say BUT the pastor said. There’s coming a time soon when who you choose to follow will matter eternally.
The Bible teaches and it’s very clear that deception will be running rampant during this time. I don’t know if you noticed but deception has ramped up in the last few years. Here in the USA organizations and governments agencies news institution and the church entities that we didn’t use to give a second thought to what they were telling us was true we blindly believe what they said was true, sources that you once didn’t second guess now become an automatic questionable source for some.
What I’m trying to tell you is the Bible must be your source, ask Holy Spirit to open the eyes of your understanding so you can see what God wants you to know. It’s in the Bible and you should read it for yourself that’s the best source you can have.
I don’t know how much information I’ll be sharing with you on this topic but what I will do is back everything up with scripture. I don’t want you to take my word for it, I don’t want it to be hearsay. I may only give a few verses your job to read more of those scriptures so you can get the context around the verses I share. Always ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes of your understanding.
So let me start right where I started the “end of this earth age” “Jesus coming back.”
- Matthew 28 (New Living Translation) 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Jesus talking)
- Acts 1 (New Living Translation) 10 As they strained to see him rising into heaven, two white-robed men suddenly stood among them. 11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why are you standing here staring into heaven? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but someday He will return from heaven in the same way you saw him go!”
- Mark 13 (New Living Translation) 5 Jesus replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, 6 for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’[a] They will deceive many.
Again, if you’re new to the Kingdom of God you may not be aware of this topic, you may have heard rumblings of Christians talking about Jesus coming back but there’s a reason why believers believe Jesus is coming back. The Bible teaches that Jesus is coming back I want you to know for yourself.
I’m going to give you some scriptures that you can look up as they talk about His return.
Mark 13, Matthew 24:1-44 and Luke 21:5-36 these all speak to the topic of the end of this age and the coming of Jesus. In these three scriptures this is Jesus Himself telling YOU how it’s going to happen.
1st & 2nd Thessalonians also teach on this topic from Paul’s writings.
