Who is Randy McKinney?

Randy McKinney is a motivated business entrepreneur who has for the past 28 years has owned and operated a successful window cleaning business. He has educated himself through life experience and the use of college courses, seminars, home study courses and internet tutorials. Randy has learned valuable lessons in all of his business endeavors, which continue to take him to the next level. Since 2005 his focus has been on empowering people who need to regain a vision for their lives.
Randy decided to make a difference and founded The Success Center. Working with re-entry from incarceration, teen black males and economically challenged folk as his prime audience.
Success Center programs include:
- Your Life by Design – a workshop that teaches personal development through setting and achieving goals.
- Entrepreneur’s Corner which challenges ex-offenders to get engaged with the ideal of self-employment/business ownership.
- Dream Coaches providing assistance to participants in the workshops and entrepreneur’s corner programs to receive one-on-one involvement with their goals and dreams,
- Seeding your Future- a two-part course on giving which outlines a series of planned and organized acts of kindness and random acts of kindness.
He is on a quest to sow into 10,000 people in the Twin Cities. He has transformed the thoughts, habits, and aspirations of hundreds of people in the Twins Cities, so far. Dakota County jail, Emerge North 4 Project, Empowerment House, these are just a beginning.
He is inspired by 1 John 3:18 “My children, let us not love with words or in talk only. Let us love by what we do and in truth”.
The Success Center was created in direct response to the fact that I wasn’t doing anything to make a difference in the community. So much of the time the focus seems to be on how we arrived at our current state, I choose to focus on how we can provide solutions to move forward. I believe we can achieve success despite the harsh environments of our society.
