Everybody may be looking…

Everybody may be looking

BUT NOT EVERYBODY is seeing!

Proverbs 22 New Living Translation

A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.
The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

Proverbs 22 The Message

A prudent person sees trouble coming and ducks,
a simpleton walks in blindly and is clobbered.

Proverbs 22 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

A prudent man sees the evil and hides himself,

but the simple pass on and are punished [with suffering].

Proverbs 22 New International Version

The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.

It takes WISDOM to deal with Covid-19, it’s NOT a matter of faith! (When you’re in the kingdom, faith plays a part in everything you do). Wisdom teaches when it’s time to make choices and decisions, make sure (wisdom) is in on the decision-making process. She should be the one that guides you and keeps you safe.

Proverbs 2 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

11 Discretion shall watch over you, understanding shall keep you,

Proverbs 4 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

Forsake not [Wisdom], and she will keep, defend, and protect you;

love her, and she will guard you.

Wisdom tells me that covid-19 is serious and that each of us need to take smart precautions, stay on top of the facts, and include wisdom on ALL decision making. I mean ALL decisions (should I go here or not, should I meet with them or not, should I get vaccinated or not.) I’ve been vaccinated and believe 98% of us should be vaccinated. As of 10-7-2021 this thing (Covid-19) is nowhere near over. We will be dealing with Covid-19 for the foreseeable future (2024?). Don’t let fatigue, frustration or the chatter coming from the world make your decisions. COVID-19 IS NOT OVER!

Proverbs 1 New Living Translation

23 Come and listen to my counsel.
I’ll share my heart with you
    and make you wise.

Jesus say’s I’ll show you how to overcome:

John 16 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]

As believers we need to always be sensitive to the ways of God, listening for His guidance and leading in all we do. It’s easy to get caught up in what the world is saying and doing but as believers our focus must be on God.

I’m writing this because of all the chatter I hear on Covid-19 and the vaccination, my desire is not to get into a debate over the issue but to bring wisdom into the conversation. In this country (USA) we all have been getting vaccinated from birth on up, nothing new about vaccinations. The Bible tells us the healing is in plant life, God has shown mankind from the beginning of time how to assist with our own healing, so ask wisdom what to do, where to go, how to do. Wisdom won’t let you down or steer you wrong, she is always available. You must seek her out to get her council.

Proverbs 8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me.

So, in all this Covid-19 chatter going on make sure you get wisdom’s opinion on the matter, take her opinion over the world’s, over the pastor’s, over the news and any other source you may be hearing. Here’s how to get wisdom in your decision making, ask and expect an answer. Still, yourself and listen, her voice shows up in a small inner voice or listen to your conscience/gut. The more you look for wisdom the easier it is to hear her. If you get vaccinated, pray over it and believe God that it will go well with you. Our faith is always in God, but God uses natural things of the world to bless and keep us. Even though I’m vaccinated I use precaution. I don’t go everywhere I want; I wear a mask when I’m out, I social distance, and the precautions I take at my house are too numerous to tell. My faith is in God, I said my faith is in God, not the vaccination. The vaccination is just a tool that God has provided for us, to combat this evil.

Seek the word because the word works if you work it.

Never stop learning and growing
